Biological Activity for SM 102
SM 102 is an ionizable cationic lipid (pKa = 6.68) used in combination with other lipids in the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LPNs) formation for the delivery of mRNA and plasmid DNA in vitro and in vivo. Administration of LNPs containing SM 102 induces hepatic luciferase expression in mice.
