Biological Activity for RiboDyEE™

Key information: RiboDyEE™ is an ultra-sensitive green, fluorescent dye specifically developed in a user-friendly format for RNA-LNP encapsulation efficiency (EE) assays. Rigorously validated against the leading competitor, it delivers equivalent performance, with enhanced convenience and fewer handling steps.

Application: RiboDyEE™ is used for the precise quantification of RNA encapsulated within lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and can detect low RNA concentrations ranging from 1 to 200 ng.

Format: RiboDyEE™ provides a stable, more usable and cost-effective solution compared to the leading competitor product. Supplied in convenient 120 µL aliquots, each RiboDyEE™ aliquot is sufficient for accurately measuring up to 7 different RNA samples (+ blank) in triplicate (21 samples in total), using a protocol specifically optimized for determining encapsulation efficiency. Additionally, each aliquot can be used to generate standard calibration curves under two conditions, with and without detergent, enhancing quantification accuracy while minimizing degradation caused by repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Properties and Photophysical Data: The dye exhibits excitation and emission maxima (λ) at 485 nm and 525 nm, respectively, with over 1000-fold fluorescence enhancement and a high quantum yield of 0.65 upon RNA binding.
