Biological Activity

Metabolite of ketamine (Cat.No. 3131). Increases AMPA receptor-mediated excitatory post-synaptic potentials in the CA1 region of hippocampal slices. Exhibits antidepressive effects in vivo. 2S,2S- and 2R,6R-enantiomers available. 2R,6R-enantiomer lacks ketamine-related side effects.
