Biological Activity for MortaLIVE™ Non-Toxic Dye
MortaLIVE™ Non-Toxic Dye is a ready-to-use fluorescent live-dead cell stain for long term live cell imaging. Can be used for toxicity assays, tracking cell viability and cytotoxicity in real time by cell imaging. Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 488 nM and 640 nM, respectively. MortaLIVE™ Non-Toxic Dye is provided as 50 μL of 1000x concentrate in DMSO.

MortaLIVE™ Non-Toxic Dye Application. Animated graph showing whole field-of-view fluorescence intensity of live and dead cell signals in MCF-7 cells stained with MortaLIVE™ following PFA treatment. MortaLIVE™ enables simultaneous detection of live and dead cells using a single dye, with distinct fluorescence signals at different wavelengths. The animation quantifies dynamic changes in cell viability over time.
