Biological Activity for LipoLIVE™ Green Non-Toxic Dye
LipoLIVE™ Green Non-Toxic Dye is a fluorescent probe for the real-time visualization of lipid droplet and neutral lipids in live cells. It does not require cell fixation or affect cell health and maintains the physiological integrity of models, enabling free-wash monitoring of lipid synthesis, storage, and mobilization.
Designed for high-content screening (HCS) workflows, it offers exceptional signal-to-noise ratios and photostability, making it the ideal partner for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), neurodegeneration, and oncology studies (demonstrated staining of U2OS and iPSC derived neurons). It is provided as 50 μL of a 1000× concentrate in DMSO. Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 488 nm and 525-550 nm, respectively.
