Biological Activity

Commonly used laboratory reagent. Highly water soluble. Working pH range 7 - 9. Used in buffer solutions such as Tris-buffered saline (TBS) in combination with NaCl (Cat. No. 3146), Tris-acetate-ETDA (TAE) in combination with acetic acid and EDTA (Cat. No. 2811) and Tris-borate-EDTA in combination with boric acid and EDTA.
