Submit ReviewDADPS Biotin Azide is an acid cleavable biotin capture reagent, with an azide group as a click handle for conjugation. The biotin portion strongly binds to avidin or streptavidin and allows to isolate specific, tagged proteins or cells from a complex biological mixture. The DADPS component is a cleavable linker, which can be cleaved under very mild acidic treatment (such as 10% formic acid), unlike traditional biotin probes that require harsh conditions (which can damage samples) to break the streptavidin bond.
