Biological Activity

Selective inhibitor of T-type calcium channels (IC50 values are 270 and 310 nM for Cav3.3 and Cav3.2 respectively in a patch EP assay). Decreases burst activity in STN neurons; reduces cataleptic behaviour in an in vivo rat model of Parkinson's disease. Displays no significant inhibition of L- or N-type calcium channels, Kir6 (KATP) or KV11.1 (hERG) potassium channels. Orally active.

Preparing Stock Solutions

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 405.79. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to solvent of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:
Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 2.46 mL 12.32 mL 24.64 mL
5 mM 0.49 mL 2.46 mL 4.93 mL
