Biological Activity

Activator of phospholipase C (PLC). Stimulates superoxide generation, Ca2+ release and inositol phosphate formation in a variety of cell types. Also inhibits growth of the leukemic cell lines U937 and THP-1. Inactive control o-3M3FBS (Cat. No. 1942) available.
