Mitochondrial Na+/Ca2+ exchange (mNCX) inhibitor. Reduces Ca2+ efflux from the mitochondria to the cytosol in HeLa cells (EC50 = 0.69 μM). Protects against glutamate-induced excitotoxitiy in rat hippocampal slices and oligomycin A/rotenone induced oxidative stress in neuroblastoma cells in vitro.

Preparing Stock Solutions
The following data is based on the product molecular weight 331.86. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to solvent of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.
|Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass||1 mg||5 mg||10 mg|
|1 mM||3.01 mL||15.07 mL||30.13 mL|
|5 mM||0.6 mL||3.01 mL||6.03 mL|
|10 mM||0.3 mL||1.51 mL||3.01 mL|
|50 mM||0.06 mL||0.3 mL||0.6 mL|
