Biological Activity for Auxinole

Auxinole is an auxin antagonist of TIR1/AFB receptors. Binds to TIR1 to block the formation of the TIR1-IAA-Aux/IAA complex and inhibit auxin-responsive gene expression. Auxinole competitively inhibits various auxin responses in planta. Auxinole also inhibits OsTIR1 that suppresses leaky degradation of degron-fused proteins. Can be used as a control compound with 5-Ph-IAA (Cat. No. 7392) in the AID2 degron system to switch off degradation.

Preparing Stock Solutions for Auxinole

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 321.37. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to the degree of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:
Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 3.11 mL 15.56 mL 31.12 mL
5 mM 0.62 mL 3.11 mL 6.22 mL
10 mM 0.31 mL 1.56 mL 3.11 mL
50 mM 0.06 mL 0.31 mL 0.62 mL
