α/β-hydrolase domain 6 (ABHD6) inhibitor (IC50 = 0.43 μM). Blocks PTZ-induced seizures in healthy mice and spontaneous seizures in R6/2 mice. Antiepileptic activity is independent of CB1 and CB2 receptors, but is GABAA receptor dependent. Brain penetrant.
There appears to be some confusion about the structure of WWL 123. Tocris sells N-[[1,1'-Biphenyl]-3-ylmethyl)-N-methylcarbamic acid 4'-(aminocarbonyl)[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl ester [1338574-83-6], which has been confirmed by the inventor, Prof B. Cravatt, as the correct compound. Other vendors sell the corresponding 3-yl regioisomer [1338575-41-9], which is the incorrect compound.

Preparing Stock Solutions
The following data is based on the product molecular weight 436.5. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to solvent of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.
|Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass||1 mg||5 mg||10 mg|
|1 mM||2.29 mL||11.45 mL||22.91 mL|
|5 mM||0.46 mL||2.29 mL||4.58 mL|
|10 mM||0.23 mL||1.15 mL||2.29 mL|
|50 mM||0.05 mL||0.23 mL||0.46 mL|
