Biological Activity

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A (ALDH1A) inhibitor (IC50 values are 0.64, 0.74 and 1.7 μM for ALDH1A3, ALDH1A2 and ALDH1A1, respectively). Induces a necroptotic phenotype and preferentially depletes CD133+ ovarian cancer stem cells in vitro.
