Biological Activity

Pseudosubstrate peptide inhibitor of protein kinase C (IC50 = 0.18 μM). Attenuates vascular hyperproliferation and hypertrophy induced by high glucose. Inhibits DNA and protein synthesis in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in a dose-dependent manner. Inactive control available ([Glu27]-PKC (19-36), Cat. No. 4059).

Preparing Stock Solutions

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 2151.48. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to solvent of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:
Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 0.46 mL 2.32 mL 4.65 mL
5 mM 0.09 mL 0.46 mL 0.93 mL
10 mM 0.05 mL 0.23 mL 0.46 mL
50 mM 0.01 mL 0.05 mL 0.09 mL
