PDB reduces saxagliptin-induced APD prolongation in cardiomyocytes.
By Chintan Koyani on 10/22/2018
Assay Type: In Vitro
Species: Other
Cell Line/Tissue: ventricular cardiomyocytes

Guinea pig ventricular cardiomyocytes were patched and superfused with Saxagliptin (2 µM, 5 min) followed by Phorbol 12,13-dibutyrate (PDB, 10 nM, 5 min) and action potentials were stimulated at a 1 Hz frequency. Action potential duration (APD) were analysed at 20%, 50% and 90% repolarization (shown in Image). PDB reduced saxagliptin-induced APD prolongation.
