Biological Activity for PF 05175157
PF 05175157 is an potent acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) 2 and 1 inhibitor (IC50 values are 45 and 98 nM, respectively). Reduces hepatic and skeletal muscle malonyl-CoA levels in rats. Also inhibits hepatic de novo lipogenesis and reduces whole body respiratory exchange ratio in rats. Orally bioavailable.
