Biological Activity for TC-E 5005

TC-E 5005 is a potent and selective PDE10A inhibitor (IC50 values are 7.28, 239, 779, 919, 3100 and 3700 nM at PDE10A, 2A, 11A, 5A, 7B and 3A respectively and >5000 nM at PDE1B, 4A, 6, 8A and 9A). Reverses MK 801-induced hyperactivity in vivo.

Dosed product into cell culture media to final concentration of 10uM and at various time points up to 72h and isolated RNA from cells for downstream qPCR analysis to review effect of PDE inhibition on cell line phenotype.

Gentle warming of solution while resuspending in 45C water bath was very helpful in the process.
