FTO (mRNA N6-methyladenine demethylase) inhibitor (IC50 = 1.2 - 21 μM; Ki = 1.8 μM). Competitively binds enzyme at active site preventing binding of N6-methyladenosine (m6A) substrate and resulting in accumulation of DNA damage in cells. Also inhibits ALKBH3 and ALKBH2 (IC50 values are 5.3 and 9.1 μM, respectively). Sensitizes glioblastoma cells to alkylating agents. Active in vivo.

Preparing Stock Solutions
The following data is based on the product molecular weight 284.22. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to the degree of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.
|Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass||1 mg||5 mg||10 mg|
|1 mM||3.52 mL||17.59 mL||35.18 mL|
|5 mM||0.7 mL||3.52 mL||7.04 mL|
|10 mM||0.35 mL||1.76 mL||3.52 mL|
|50 mM||0.07 mL||0.35 mL||0.7 mL|
