Biological Activity

Highly selective β1-adrenoceptor antagonist (Ki values are 0.88, 20, 44, 700, 1160, 2400 and 4000 nM at β1, 5-HT1A, β2, 5-HT2, α1, H1 and D2 receptors respectively). Induces vasodilation via a nitric oxide- and cGMP-dependent mechanism (EC50 = 11.36 μM in renal arteries) and displays antihypertensive activity in vivo. GRK/β -arrestin biased agonist at the β2 adrenoceptor.

Preparing Stock Solutions

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 441.9. Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to solvent of hydration, which will affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:
Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 2.26 mL 11.31 mL 22.63 mL
5 mM 0.45 mL 2.26 mL 4.53 mL
10 mM 0.23 mL 1.13 mL 2.26 mL
