生物活性 for Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 2

Tissue Clearing Pro is a solvent-based tissue clearing technique, comparable to BABB and DISCO. It does not cause significant shrinkage or tissue damage and does not use as harsh a solvent as other solvent-based techniques. Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 2 is part of our Tissue Clearing Pro kit (Cat. No. 7389) that can clear a whole mouse brain of up to 8 mm thickness in 24 hours; for sections with a thickness of 1 mm this can be achieved in 2 hours. For small tissues and thin brain slices (500 μm) that do not require permeabilization, only Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 1 (Cat. No. 7563) is required and tissues can be imaged in Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 1. Larger tissues must be placed in Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 2 to finish clearing, then these samples can be mounted and imaged in Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 2. This product is compatible with fluorescent protein, immunolabeling and small molecule staining techniques, as well as being suitable for use with all standard dyes and buffers. Following 3D imaging, clearing can be reversed for follow-up 2D histology staining. Tissue Clearing Pro Reagent 2 has a refractive index of 1.53. Supplied as 1 x 30 mL vial.
