Specificity and cross reactivity:
Recognises both rat glutamate receptor δ1 and δ2 which exhibit some sequence
similarity in their C-termini; migrates at a band of ~ 115 kDa. Also predicted
to cross-react with mouse and human homologues.
Immunogen:
KLH conjugated synthetic peptide
([C]-QPTPTLGLNLGNDPDRGTSI) corresponding to C-terminal amino acids 988-1007 of
rat precursor glutamate receptor δ2
(Accession No. Q63226) with a cysteine added at the N-terminus of the peptide.
50 μg of
immunogen is provided with the antibody as a blocking peptide and can also be
purchased separately (Cat. No. 2114).
