More Information »Inositol lipids are the structural basis of many second messenger molecules in eukaryotic cells, such as inositol monophosphate, inositol triphosphate (IP₃) and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (Ins (1,4,5)P₃). Inositol lipid signaling pathways are regulated by phosphorylation.
