Histone Methyltransferases
More Information »Histone methyltransferases (HMTs) are a group of enyzmes that catalyze the transfer of methyl groups from S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) to histones. This occurs predominantly on the side chains of lysine and arginine residues in histones H3 and H4.
