More Information »Vascular endothelial growth factor is a signaling protein involved in the regulation of angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. VEGF binds to and activates a receptor tyrosine kinase, VEGFR, through transphosphorylation. Three VEGFR isoforms have been identified in humans.
