Elastase
More Information »Elastases are a group of serine proteases that specifically degrade elastin. Elastin, together with collagen, is a key protein that contributes to the mechanical properties of connective tissue. There are two types of elastases; pancreatic elastase and leukocyte (neutrophil) elastase.
