Custom Synthesis The efficient synthesis of high quality, complex organic molecules is a key Tocris capability. We specialise in complex, multi-stage custom synthesis and are capable of supplying mg to Kg quantities of key intermediates, including scaffolds, building blocks, metabolites and API's. We can assist with the synthesis of products or prepare ranges of analogues, using either existing methodologies or design routes to compounds of interest.
Custom Sourcing Our global supply network is second to none, and partner organizations possess specialist skills in areas as diverse as natural product extraction, fermentation and peptide synthesis. Additionally we can find high quality sources of commodity products such as raw materials & API's, natural products sourced from highly specialized phytochemical companies and specialized fine chemicals such as carbohydrates, nucleotides, prostaglandins & fermentation products.
Analytical Services Our experienced team of analytical chemists have access to state of the art equipment including multinuclear NMR (1H,13C,31P,19F), HPLC (Normal Phase, Rerverse Phase and Chiral), MS, LC-MS, IR, optical rotation & micro-analysis. The varied nature of the work we conduct means that we are skilled at providing a comprehensive QC data package, as well as HPLC method development, compound stability and impurity profiling and preparative LC sample purification.

Our Laboratories Our modern facility opened in 2005 and provides us with over 700 square metres of state-of-the-art laboratory space located on the outskirts of Bristol, UK, and is equiped with top quality fume cupboards & laboratory fittings with established procedures for safe working and environmentally friendly waste disposal. Our range of equipment is also extensive, including a Parr hydrogenator, large scale Buchi rotary evaporators and Genevac lyophilization equipment.

Our laboratories are designed to complement the capabilities of our synthetic chemists, who work closely with our supply chain and analytical teams to maximise productivity, and enable us to take projects from conception through to completion as quickly as possible.
