Biological Activity:
Selective 5-HT1A receptor agonist
that displays high intrinsic activity (Ki values are 0.4, 7.7 and 36
nM for 5-HT1A, 5-HT1D and D2 receptors
respectively and > 1000 nM for 5-HT2, D1, α1
and α2
receptors). Produces hypothermia, hypotension and 5-HT behavioural syndrome
following p.o. administration.
