Biological Activity:

Endogenous peptide that potently antagonises P2X3 receptors (IC50 = 8.3 pM). Also inhibits enkephalin-degrading enzymes (aminopeptidase, dipeptidyl aminopeptidase III, neprilysin) and angiotensin-converting enzyme. Displays antinociceptive effects in mice.
