Chemical Name: 2-[4-[2-[2-[(4-Isothiocyanatophenyl)thiocarbonylamino]e thylaminocarbonyl]ethyl]phenethylamino]-5'-N-ethylcarbo xamidadenosine

Biological Activity:

Irreversible A_2A receptor agonist (apparent K_i = 9.9 nM). Displays > 8-fold selectivity for A₂ versus A₁ receptors (K_i values are 35 and 276 nM for rat A₂ and A₁ receptors respectively). Produces progressive concentration-independent vasodilation in guinea pig heart Langendorff preparations.
