Biological Activity:
Antioxidant, antimitogenic, anticarcinogenic,
anti-inflammatory and antiviral. Specifically inhibits NF-kB activation and
inhibits the growth of transformed cells. Also suppresses lipid peroxidation
and inhibits ornithine decarboxylase, protein tyrosine kinase and lipoxygenase
activities.
