Chemical Name:2-[2-Hydroxy-3-[[2-(1H-indol-3-yl)-1,1-dimethylethyl]am
ino]propoxy]benzonitrile
Biological Activity:
Non-selective β-adrenoceptor
antagonist with additional α1-adrenoceptor
blocking activity. Ki values are 1.61, 1.20 and 68.9 nM for β1-,
β2-
and α1-adrenoceptors
respectively. Also acts as a weak 5-HT2A/2B antagonist. Displays
vasodilatory and antihypertensive actions.
