Technical Writer

Tocris are looking for the right person to join our team as a Technical Writer.

In this role you will commission, write and edit product descriptions and technical copy for the Tocris product database, website, catalogue, literature and other promotional and marketing materials.

You will also participate in e-commerce and lead generation programs on an ongoing basis and represent the organization at selected industry tradeshows, as well as provide technical support on an occasional basis.

This role will be ideal for a BSc to PhD level Life Scientist with an interest in technical writing, and given the type of products in our range, a background in Life Sciences, Pharmacology or Biochemistry would be particularly useful. IT skills and HTML experience are also desirable as our website has become a key part of our marketing efforts.

You will need a keen interest in keeping your scientific expertise and knowledge up-to-date. Additionally teamwork skills are also essential as you will need to interact with Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management and Technical Support on a frequent basis.
