Biological Activity

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. Potently inhibits lipid peroxidation in mitochondria and inhibits TNF-α-induced NFκB activation. Also shown to inhibit topoisomerase II activity in vitro (IC50 = 7.41 μM).
