Ordering Information
All Tocris products can be purchased online, often for next day delivery. To order products online: 1. Create your Web Account Creating a web account is necessary to order online with Tocris. The additional benefits to you include the ability to customise your favourite product lists and view new products in your areas of interest. 2. Add Products to your Shopping Cart There are a number of ways that you can add products to your shopping cart for purchase: a. Quick Order To use the quick order option enter the 4-digit catalogue numbers that you require, select “Continue”, add unit quantities next to the required unit sizes, and click “Add to Cart”. b. Direct from Search Results Once you have searched for products using the quick or advanced search options, enter unit quantities next to the required unit sizes, and click “Add to Cart”. c. Product Detail Pages Enter unit quantities next to the required unit sizes, and click “Add to Cart”. d. My Favorites This feature is activated once you have created a web account (see 1). “My Favourites” box is located in the right hand column in the Products, Advanced Search and Shop Online areas of the website. Enter quantities next to the required unit sizes, and click “Add to Cart”. You can view your shopping cart at any time by selecting “View Cart” in the top right hand corner of the page or in “My Cart” in the right hand column. 3. Check Out Once you have added your items to your shopping cart, you can select “Checkout” in the top right corner of the web page or within “My Cart”. You will be asked to log in or register at this stage, if you are not already logged in. Confirm your billing and shipping information, select your payment method and submit your order. 4. Confirmation of Order An automatic email will be sent to confirm that your order has been submitted; it will also contain a summary of your order. You can view details and progress of your order(s), including courier tracking numbers/airway bills, at any time by visiting the “My Account” area of the website. 5. Questions about your Order? Please contact Customer Service. It is helpful if you quote your customer number (which is located on all invoices and packing lists) when placing an order. [top] Shipping: US Orders are normally shipped the day they are received for delivery the following business day. Shipping charges will be prepaid and added to the invoice. All orders from Tocris Bioscience will ship FOB origin. If you have specific shipping requirements, please insure that they are stated clearly when placing an order. Invoices are payable by check or credit card (Mastercard or Visa). We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts. All duties, taxes and bank charges are for the purchaser’s account. [top] VAT If you are an EU customer, please provide your VAT number. European Union: VAT will be charged at the current UK rate unless a VAT number is supplied. Outside European Union: VAT will not be charged. [top] Product Availability Although we make every effort to insure a continuous supply of our products, occasionally circumstances may force us to discontinue or temporarily run out of a product. Customers will be notified immediately on placement of orders for such products and, if applicable, items will be put on backorder. You will then receive regular updates as to the current status of your order with estimated future availability. Please contact the Tocris Customer Service Department for information on product availability. [top] Bulk Quantities We can offer competitive discounts on products purchased in bulk quantities. For quotes please use our bulk order enquiry form or contact us for further details. [top] DEA Restricted Products (US orders only) Tocris offers a range of DEA restricted products. Because costs, license, and permit requirements vary please contact customer service for assistance in making DEA restricted product purchases. Orders containing DEA restricted products carry a $25 administration fee. [top] Controlled Substances (UK) A small number of Tocris products are regulated by the UK Home Office and, as such, there are associated conditions of supply. Any companies intending to possess, supply, produce or manufacture controlled drugs need to apply to the relevant governing body for the appropriate license. Customers wishing to purchase any controlled substance are required to send Tocris the relevant license before despatch can be arranged. [top] Returns: US Please inspect packages immediately upon receipt and notify us within 5 days of delivery of any damage or discrepancies. Should you wish to return any items, a Return of Good Authorization (RGA) must be obtained from our Customer Service Department (please call 1-800-421-3701).

Goods ordered in error will only be accepted for return if it is within 5 days of delivery, the products are unopened, have been stored correctly and are in good condition. In order to maintain the quality of our products, some items may not be returned for credit. Should you wish to return any items, prior authorisation must be received from our Customer Service team.
