More Information »Oxytocin receptors (OT) are G-protein-coupled receptors that mediate parturition and lactation. They are closely related to vasopressin receptors. Oxytocin receptors are coupled to Gq/11 proteins and are localized to the myoepithelial cells of the mammary gland.
