More Information »Phospholipase C (PLC) represents a group of enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of PIP2 (phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate) to IP3 (inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate) and DAG (1,2-diacylglycerol). IP3 and DAG both have important second messenger functions.
