More Information »The OX1 receptors, also known as hypocretin receptor 1, are located primarily in the ventromedial hypothalamus, locus coeruleus, median raphe, hippocampus and taenia tecta where they are thought to regulate sleep-wakefulness and energy homeostasis, particularly food intake.
