More Information »Serotonin 5-HT6 receptors are located primarily in the striatum, olfactory tubercles, nucleus accumbens and hippocampus. Functions of 5-HT6 receptors include modulation of cholinergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission, and a role in spatial learning and memory.
