Biological ActivityIndirectly agonizes serotonin receptors via inhibition of 5-HT re-uptake and stimulation of 5-HT release. Anorectic agent; decreases growth hormone, insulin, leptin, fat mass, lean mass and increases ghrelin in diet-switched diet-induced obese mice.
