Chemical Name: (3aα,4β,7β,7aα)-Hexahydro-3a,7a-dimethyl-4,7-epoxyisobenzofuran-1,3-dione

Biological Activity

Natural toxin inhibitor of protein phosphatases 1 and 2A (Ki values are 1.1 and 0.19 μM respectively); similar to okadaic acid (Cat. No. 1136). Displays > 500-fold selectivity over PP2B.

Soluble to 100 mM in DMSO and to 25 mM in ethanol
