Chemical Name: 1-(3,4-Dimethylphenyl)-N,N-dipropyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine

Biological Activity

Suppresses superoxide production by complex III in the mitochondria without affecting normal electron flux or cellular oxidative phosphorylation (IC50 = 1.7 μM). Suppresses HIF-1α accumulation and enhances survival and function of primary pancreatic islets in vitro. Cell permeable.
