Biological ActivityAnti-inflammatory agent. Inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP-1) enzymes. NAD+ precursor. Promotes differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells to insulin producing cells when used in combination with growth factors and high glucose concentration.
