Biological Activity:
Selective
5-HT2C agonist. Ki values are 56, 2350, 1575 and 815 nM
for human recombinant 5-HT2C, 5-HT2A, 5-HT6 and
5-HT7 receptors respectively. Stimulates intracellular Ca2+
mobilisation in CHO cells expressing human 5-HT2C receptors (EC50
= 72 nM). Reduces food intake in rats.
