Chemical Name: 2-Nitro-N-[[trans-4-[[[(1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2-naphthalen yl)methyl]amino]methyl]cyclohexyl]methyl]benzenesulfona mide hydrochloride

Biological Activity:

Selective, non-peptide competitive NPY Y₅ antagonist. K_ivalues are 8.0 and 16032 nM at human recombinant Y₅and Y₁ receptors respectively. Potently antagonises NPY inhibition of forskolin-stimulated cAMP. Displays some affinity for cloned human D₂ and α_2C receptors (K_ivalues are 63 and 100 nM respectively).
