Biological Activity:
Endogenous substance P homologue that is a
selective agonist at the tachykinin NK1 receptor (IC50
values are 1.8, 370 and 480 nM respectively). Has proliferative and
anti-apoptotic actions on B-cells in vitro and is antihypertensive in vivo.
