Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme
More Information »Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE, aka peptidyl dipeptidase A, carboxycathepsin) cleaves a C-terminal dipeptide from angiotensin I to create the vasoconstrictor peptide, angiotensin II. ACE can also inactivate the vasodilator, proinflammatory peptide, bradykinin.
