Cat. No. 4655
Alternative Name: S3I-201
Chemical Name: 2-Hydroxy-4-[[2-[[(4-methylphenyl)s
Biological ActivitySelectively inhibits STAT3 DNA-binding activity in vitro (IC50 values are 86, 160, and >300 μM for STAT3-STAT3, STAT1-STAT3 and STAT1-STAT1 DNA-binding activity respectively). Blocks growth and induces apoptosis preferentially in tumor cells that contain persistently active STAT3 in vitro and arrests tumor growth in a murine xenograft model in vivo.
