Biological Activity

Neutral retinoic acid receptor (RAR) α-selective antagonist (K_i = 2.5 nM). Displays no significant effect on nuclear receptor corepressor (NCoR) binding; moderately decreases SMRT binding to RAR. Antagonizes agonist-induced coactivator (CoA) recruitment.
