Biological Activity

Potent and highly selective NPY Y₅ receptor agonist (K_i values are 0.85, 42, 3015 and 245 nM at Y₅, Y₁, Y₂ and Y₄ receptors respectively). Stimulates food intake gradually following intrahypothalamic administration in rats.
